The New Industry Standards
Technology is fast becoming an integral part of learning, though learning still involves a lot of the traditional methods such as a classroom like environment, regular testing & feedback. Therefore transitioning from an orthodox classroom to an online e-learning setting can be a daunting challenge for any student keeping that in mind the latest in E-learning techniques can build confidence & new learning standards can be established.
Ensuring Technological Stability
Another challenge for any e-learning establishment is the upkeep & of their IT infrastructure. Most often than not, a technical flaw in the e-learning application or software causes a hindrance in the student’s ability to focus and maintain the discipline required to successfully complete a course.
Pupil – Educator Relationship
One of the advantages an educator had with the traditional classroom setting was the opportunity to expose the full talent & ability of the pupil by engaging in asking open ended and cross questions. E-learning developed a replacement for the advantage of hands-on student-teacher interaction it just hasn’t gained the popularity it needs.
Another challenge with online or e-learning is the physical isolation of one pupil from another, each pupil may even be on opposite sides of the world. Most students learn, explore, interact & contribute better to the course.
